High Court directs AP to remit fee reimbursement to educational institutions


Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court quashed the review petition filed by the state government on the implementation of the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme and directed it to remit fee reimbursement amount into the bank accounts of educational institutions instead of mothers’ accounts.

A single-judge bench headed by Justice K. Vijayalakshmi held a hearing on the review petition on the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme on Monday and delivered the verdict by quashing the review petition.

 

Advocate general S. Sriram and petitioners’ counsels Vijay and Venkataramana argued in the case and after hearing the judge pronounced the verdict.
